East to West – A Night of International Classical Music supporting initiatives in Nepal

Australian Première
Australia’s first chance to enjoy a new concerto written especially for the talented clarinetist who will play for us!
A HIMALAYA CONCERTO + PROGRAMME FOR CLARINET, PIANO AND CELLO
Featuring
Idris Harries – clarinet
Renat Yusupov – cello
Hila Yusupov – piano
‘A Himalaya Concerto’ is a creation of British composer Stuart Brown, written especially for Idris Harries. The work was composed in 2015 to support small poverty alleviation projects in Nepal and the composer has allowed us to use it for fundraising for our work in Nepal.

So it can be enjoyed by people without the expense of having to employ a full orchestra, Idris will perform it to a full orchestral backing track compiled by the composer himself.
