First performed in 1858, Saint-Saëns’s Christmas Oratorio is a hidden gem of the early-romantic/late-classical style. Featuring voices, orchestra, organ and harp, its text guides us through the second chapter of Luke and reflects on the significance of Jesus’s birth and the Christmas story. This Christmas, we would love for you and your family to join us as we bring this work to life in English, before inviting everyone to join in for a range of traditional carols in celebration of the Christmas season and what it all means! Tickets sold at the door, $20/$15/$10 for adult/concession/child.
