MS Moonlight Walk
Brisbane’s annual MS Moonlight Walk – the walk to fight MS – is back! Celebrating 21 years, the MS Moonlight Walk sees the Brisbane community get active and celebrate our great city like never before.
Choose between a leisurely and safe 3km, 5km or 10km – with both the 3km and 5km courses wheelchair accessible. Walkers on all courses will be supported by course marshals, volunteers and refreshment stations.
MS Queensland’s Moonlight Walk raises money to support the thousands of Queenslanders living with MS. Giving them MS access to support services including service coordination, physiotherapy, counselling and mindfulness. Helping them to stay mobile, feel more confident and live independently with their MS.
Each walker receives their very own lantern to illuminate our belief that no one should face MS alone. It’s a spectacular sight to witness the sea of lanterns as the 10km walkers stroll along the Brisbane river making their way to the Botanic Gardens. After circling the lush gardens, walkers head across the Goodwill Bridge and back along the river, through Kurilpa Point Park, returning to Davies Park in West End.
After the walk, we encourage our participants to stay and enjoy the party at Davies Park where there will be a variety of food trucks, live entertainment and lots of cheers as we welcome our inspirational walkers across the finish line.
Help celebrate the beauty of this special event and join MS Queensland in the walk to fight MS. The MS Moonlight Walk is the perfect event to enjoy time with family and friends and take in the views of the Brisbane city at night.
SIGN UP today at MoonlightWalk.com.au and help raise $470,000 to ensure no one has to face MS alone.
