Disney’s The Little Mermaid

We are excited to invite you to Disney’s The Little Mermaid Presented by Limestone Revue being held at the Ipswich SHS from 26-28 September.

We are thrilled to announce that Limestone Revue, a cherished bi-annual community theatre production in the Ipswich area, is gearing up for its 21st season of empowering youth. Our not-for-profit show not only aims to showcase aspiring artists on stage but also to develop young individuals by providing them with essential life and professional skills, transforming them into confident and successful adults. Youth participating in Limestone Revue grow exponentially in self-confidence and skills within the performing arts and themselves as a person.

Get ready to dive under the sea as Ipswich State High School hosts the enchanting production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, brought to life by the talented performers of Limestone Revue. With 30 cast members from ages 8-24 years old, they are set to captivate audiences.

Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale and the Disney animated film, The Little Mermaid promises an unforgettable experience for theatre-goers of all ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs such as “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World” all performed by the vibrant cast of Limestone Revue.

“We are thrilled to bring Disney’s The Little Mermaid to life,” said Kate, Producer of Limestone Revue. “This timeless story celebrates bravery, love, and the importance of staying true to oneself. It’s a journey that will resonate with everyone, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
