You could be walking the red carpet at the exclusive 96five premiere of the new independent Australian film, ‘Ruby’s Choice’.

‘Ruby’s Choice’ is the story of three generations of strong Australian women as they come to grips with a dementia diagnosis.  Bonded by shared moments of wisdom and joy, secrets from the family’s past are revealed as Ruby’s illness threatens to push them apart, and the family struggles to make a big decision. Ruby’s Choice will resonate with audiences touched by dementia while offering hope and inspiration to live life to the fullest.

The film is directed by Michael Budd and stars Golden Globe winner Jane Seymour OBE alongside Jacqueline McKenzie, Stephen Hunter and Coco Jack Gillies (Mad Max: Fury Road, Oddball and the Penguins).

Director Michael Budd told FilmInk that the movie is incredibly personal to him.

“I am inspired to make this film, having lost my Grandma to dementia and knowing even in her final years she had a lot to offer as a matriarch of our family. I want to give Ruby who has dementia an underlying strength that will be highlighted through the course of the film by her interactions with her family.”

You could be joining in all of the action as the red carpet is rolled out for the premiere of ‘Ruby’s Choice’ at the Palace James St Cinemas on Tuesday March 1 at 6pm.  To win a double pass to this exclusive 96five event, you’ll need to listen out for that cue to call next week (February 21-25) between the hours of 6am and 6pm, and give us a call on 1300 965 965.
