You might not know it but more than 1 in 2 Queensland adults are overweight or obese, and 1 in 4 children are too.
The good news is you can lose your belly without losing out on the things you love, by committing to small physical activity and nutrition swaps daily. You dont have to stop certain habits just swap them to start a healthier life!
It could be swapping a big plate for a small plate, swapping fried food for fresh, swapping sitting for moving or swapping watching the kids play sport for getting involved yourself!

For the next four weeks, hell be getting tips on swapping unhealthy habits for healthy ones thanks to peak diabetes, cancer, heart and nutrition bodies in Queensland, supporting the national Swap It, Dont Stop It campaign.
Were also inviting you to swap with us, as we broadcast live from the Southbank Institute of TAFE – from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 13 October.
There will be a jumping castle, coffee van, visit from Gold Medal Olympian Duncan Armstrong plus your chance to learn about how small physical activity and nutrition swaps daily can make a big difference to your waistline, and overall health and wellbeing.
