1. Jake Nauta – Reserved
A song that’s heaps laid back but still manages to hook you in. Jake told us it took his band a few months of playing the song live before they discovered what they wanted the recorded version to sound like.
Jake’s coming to Brisbane really soon and told us what you can expect from one of his shows (interview below).
2. New Empire – Say it Like You Mean it
Our favourite band is back with new music, again managing to freshen up their sound while staying true to what make them who they are. Lead singer Jez explained ‘I’m kinda using my lower range in my vocals a lot more as well as the upper range, which is a bit new for us.’ Jeremy chats more to us the new album below.
3. Young & Free – Alive
Recently I turned this up so loud in studio I think I permanently damaged my ears.
