Some of our favourite Christian artists have been awarded Grammy Awards today, and we couldnt be happier for them.
The Best Gospel Album went to Israel & Newbreed for their album Covered: Alive In Asia, while the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Album went to TobyMac for This Is Not A Test.
Kirk Franklin who won the Best Gospel Performance/Song Grammy spoke to Billboard on the red carpet where he announced he was going on tour to celebrate 20 years in the music industry.

Another one of our favourite red carpet moments was Billboard’s interview with TobyMac, who said of the diversity in genres honoured at the Grammys, “Ive always thought my music was for everybody. Sure I write from a faith perspective, but its about life, its about relationships and the struggle with relationships .Its about how faith plays a role in all that. So I just think this is where we need to be.”
