Award winning faith-based duo for KING & COUNTRY have announced they will take a hiatus from touring in 2025.
The Aussie expat brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone said in social media posts overnight that the new year will see them put their full focus into new music, as well as their next feature film project.
The announcement comes as the band prepares to wrap up their Unsung Hero tour, before a final flurry of Christmas shows in December to round out the year. The Drummer Boy Christmas Tour will also include two nights at the famed O2 venue in London.
In a special bonus for Aussie fans, the concert film of ‘A Drummer Boy Christmas Live: The Cinematic Concert Experience’ coming to cinemas in Australia and New Zealand for 3 days only this December 13th to 15th. The highly-anticipated holiday concert spectacle is the perfect way for your family to get into the Christmas Spirit!

The concert film comes off the back of the highly successful biopic ‘Unsung Hero’, which told the story of the Smallbone family’s relocation to the US from Australia in the early nineties. ‘Unsung Hero’, which was released by Lionsgate grossed over $20 million in US cinemas during its theatrical run.
Joel and Luke siad via Facebook that “our number one sadness each holiday season is only being able to make it to 10-15 cities for Christmas shows. So we captured our full Christmas show at the Houston Toyota Center last year. And our friends at Fathom Events have been so kind to place it in an astounding 1,500+ theatres.”
