ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of others, a time to remember the countless acts of Australian bravery in theatres of war across the past 120 years.
Duncan Barlow is the minister of the Laidley and Hatton Vale Uniting Churches in the Lockyer Valley, and in this special ANZAC Day message he reflects on the day and asks the question – when will there be peace?
Duncan’s message is based around the passage found around in Micah Chapter 4, verses 1 to 5. One of the key parts of the passage is that ‘nation will not take up swords against nation, nor will they train for war anymore’.
