Colin Lee is passionate about giving faith to people who are feeling frustrated with what’s happening in the world and feel hopeless about the future.
Marking his 42nd birthday, Colin Lee hopes that ‘Better Future Day’ on May 13 will inspire people to reflect on what they’re grateful for and to see light amongst the darkness.
“We’ve experienced a lot of ups and downs in the last 20 years coming as migrants and leaving everything behind” Colin shared with 96five’s Alex Milne.
“So much has changed but we are here today because of our story.”
Colin is the founder of Inspire Realty and loves connecting with people and hearing their hopes and struggles including the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
“There’s a lot of people who’ve lost their jobs, their livelihoods and a lot of people attach identity to what they do for a living.”
“When you lose that, you lose a great sense of who you are. For some people they start to question the meaning of life.”
Colin encourages people to reflect back on the last 10 years and find 10 things to be grateful for.
“God has planned all that for you so that He can take you from where you are to where you’re meant to be, to give you that better future.”
For ‘Better Future Day’ on May 13, Colin wants people to reflect on the past but to get excited about the next 10 things they want to see or achieve.
“I believe the fact that we’re born and we’re alive today is already a good story and we’ve got to count our blessings.”
“By making a list, recording it and sharing it around, I think that really helps people to understand that actually we do have things that we can be thankful for.”
To celebrate Better Future Day, share your gratitude list using the hashtag #betterfutureday and connect with Colin Lee via Facebook and Instagram.
