Health benefits of chocolate

This is exactly the sort of scientific study we like to hear about.
Australian researchers have found even more proof that chocolate is in fact good for us.
But a caveat it must be dark chocolate (at least 65% cocoa) and daily consumption must be limited to 100g a day (dang!).
The study, published today in the British Medical Journal, suggests that a few small squares of the dark stuff every day can help prevent heart problems in high risk people.
Its all thanks to valuable compounds called polyphenols, which can help lower blood pressure. As we know, prevention is better than a cure, and researchers say spending $40 on dark chocolate per person a year, would be a cost effective health policy for the government, helping to reduce heart disease in the long term. The government buying us chocolate, all in the name of health
. I quite like the sound of that.
