Up until Alison Buttenshaw was 8 years old, she was living what she thought was a happy childhood when suddenly it all began to fall apart. At 10 years old she witnessed her parents being brutally attacked. The façade of a happy childhood shattered into a million pieces. Alison shares her story and how – one by one – the pieces of her life have been put back together. She is the author of Out of the Shadows.
