A week on from the car crash which claimed the life of Ipswich mother, Tammy Boorer, and her unborn baby; her husband, Nathan Boorer, is still fighting for his life at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

But that’s not the only battle Nathan, his nine-year-old boy and five-year-old girl are facing. The bills including funeral expenses are piling up.

The Boorer family’s pastor, Scott Muir, of Central Church, said his congregation has been devastated by the tragedy and want to support the family as much as possible.

The church has set up a Boorer fund and they’re encouraging people to donate whatever they can, big or small.

“We’ve set up an account to receive funds to pay for the funeral, rent and other expenses,” he said.
