Brisbane & South East Queensland residents should be prepared for a very high fire danger risk, especially if they live in an area adjacent to bush land.

The warmest and driest winter Queensland has had on record, the weeks and months ahead are being viewed with extreme caution by the Queensland Fire and Emergency services. This week in particular, Brisbane and South East Queensland will experience very high fire danger ratings. 

“Complacency is not somewhere we want to be in this present time. Every year is a fire season, … if you’re not well prepared you’re going to get caught out.”
