Each day this week Ness ‘Busted a Move‘ during her 8am news to help kick start her campaign raising funds for breast cancer patients at the Mater Foundation; which will culminate in a six hour fitness Bust a Move extravaganza hosted by Shannan Ponton from TVs The Biggest Loser on Saturday 15 March 2014 at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
World class professional instructors including Shannan will host six exercise classes incorporating dance, stretches and resistance workouts. Bust a Move is suitable for all ages over 16 years and fitness levels.
Sadly, almost 15 000 Australian women each year are diagnosed with breast cancer so it will be a special day to celebrate with those who have won the battle, support those whose journey has just begun, remember loved ones that have lost their fight with breast cancer and support ground-breaking research and innovative programs such as mastectomy bras and art therapy at the Mater through chicks in pink.
Ness is really passionate about the cause and can’t wait to ‘Bust a Move’.
“Breast health is such an important issue and this is a fantastic way to have fun, stay healthy and raise both funds and awareness. The fitness sessions will be a great way to try out something new, and to Bust a Move for a great cause. I encourage all women to grab their friends, their sneakers and their positive attitude, and get involved.”
