On Thursday August 17, 26 Christian radio stations across Australia participated in CBM’s Miracles Day and over 31,700 Miracles were raised…with the counter still ticking over. That’s not just 31,700 individuals that have been impacted, but the lives of all of their families and the wider communities! What a tremendous impact.

If you needed to be reminded of the impact of your $32 donation – here’s Aljon’s story. She’s the little girl in the photo at the top of this page…

Aljon (seven) had been blind from congenital bilateral cataracts since birth (meaning she has had them in both eyes since birth.) After Aljon’s surgery her mother Wen, and her husband, were overjoyed.

“May God bless you more and to help others. This is a good help for me and my family, thank you.”

“I thank you Australia and I thank you for this big help, thank you so much and may you help others also like us and God bless you more.”

“Because without their help, I can’t do it on my own, I am very grateful that there are people like them who are willing to help.”

“Thank you Australia!” smiles Aljon.

…and a bit of fun with the local delicacy…
