96five’s Transmitter is at Risk – Can You Help?

As your 96five is a community-funded Christian radio station, we really need a strong surge of support to provide a new transmitter to keep speaking life and hope into your life, your family’s and the lives of many others. We also want to be right there with you, serving you in the community.

You’re able to hear 96five because a crucial piece of equipment, our transmitter, is sending a signal across Brisbane, but that transmitter is aging, and is now due for replacement. We’re now relying on dangerously tired technology to broadcast real hope and encouragement to thousands of people each day.  Our signal is very vulnerable.

If your 96five’s transmitter drops out, there will be an instant and direct impact on the almost 180,000 people we’re reaching every week.

As your 96five is a community-funded Christian radio station, we really need a strong surge of support to provide a new transmitter to keep speaking life and hope into your life, your family’s and the lives of many others. We also want to be right there with you, serving you in the community.  That’s why the other important investment that’s urgently needed is an outside broadcast trailer kit.

So many of you have helped bring hope to thousands of children, teachers and parents through 96five’s School Excursions and other community events.  And this new trailer would help reach even more people with a message of love and grace.

Both the transmitter and trailer are urgently needed to share love and hope with more people in your community – so please pray!

“I am not exactly sure what it is about 96five that is different, but for the first time in my life I feel like I belong to something… This is a journey that I have just started, but I already feel the support of your station, as if you somehow know exactly what I need to hear each day.  If that is not a sign of something bigger than just ourselves, I am not sure what is.” JO

The transmitter and the outside broadcast trailer are the tools we need to help provide encouragement and inspiration to people of all ages and stages – right where they’re at, right when they need it.

That’s why we’re asking you to continue to pray for the ministry… and prayerfully consider giving a special gift to help meet the $60,000 Secure Hope Fund goal to replace these key ‘tools of the trade’ that will change lives.

Meeting this goal will help ensure that hundreds of thousands of listeners today – and for years to come – will always be able to tune in to find hope in our uncertain world. So, please pray with us that this crucial $60,000 goal will be met quickly.

And any special tax-deductible gift you can give today to help Secure Hope by providing this equipment, would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping ensure hope is there through 96five to help lost and hurting people in Brisbane and beyond!
