96five will once again pause to remember our service men and women on this day of national remembrance.
Initially established during the 1920s as a national day of commemoration for Australians who died during the war, ANZAC Day now includes the commemoration of Australians who died in the Second World War and all military and peacekeeping operations of which Australia has been involved.
The 96five Dawn Service will feature readings and reflections from Corporal Sarah Petchell (School Chaplain and host of 96five podcast Chappy Chats), RAAF Chaplain Michelle Philp and a message from Peter Schmidhause who serves as the School Chaplain at John Paul College.

John Paul College Chaplain Peter Schmidhause will share a message during our ANZAC Day service.
Produced by 96five’s Justin Rouillon and hosted by Arthur Muhl, the commemorative service will be broadcast from 6am on Monday 25th April 2022, with a replay at 11am.
While ANZAC Day services and marches are set to return to normal after 2 years of restrictions, 96five recognises the value of a service for those who unable to attend a service in person.
Whether you’re in your loungeroom, out on the deck or your driveway, tune in to 96five, or listen online this ANZAC Day at 6am.
