Watch out America, Japan is trying to claim your title of the burger capital of the world.
Japan’s second largest burger chain (behind McDonalds) MOS Burger has released a new burger they’re titling ‘The Tokyo Tower’ named for the 328 metre Tokyo Tower building which sells this burger in it’s food court.
The 14 layers (or 15 if you add cheese) that make up this mammoth burger are:
Bun
Lettuce
Hot chili sauce
Chopped onion
Mayonnaise
Burger
Thick-cut tomato
Another layer of hot chili sauce
An onion ring
Ketchup
More chopped onion
Pastrami bacon
Another burger
Bun
Once you figure out how to get this burger into your mouth, next you’ll have to plan a hike up Mount Fuji to burn off the calories!
This isn’t Japan’s first foray into giant burgers. They also have a 10 pattie high ‘Tower Cheeseburger’ and the Windows 7 Whopper.
Plus who could forget their black squid ink burger…
Or their fried frog leg black burger.
